Calling for Worldwide Awareness of the Crisis of Global Warming
The Love of the World Cultural Goodwill Group took a speedboat to board the island of Tuvalu Funa Fara, and they also felt the simplicity of the locality and shared the conscience movement with the islanders. |
Having suffered the devastation of World War II, many island nations in the South Pacific are now facing new severe challenges brought forth by global warming. Climate change and global warming have resulted in rising sea levels, which have posed serious threats to low-lying nations, and Tuvalu is at the forefront of these effects. The Governor-General of the Republic of Tuvalu, H.E. Sir Iakoba T. Italeli mentioned that Tuvalu is a peaceful nation with no crimes, where people feel safe sleeping outdoors and leaving their doors unlocked. The only problem they are facing is climate change, an existential threat.
On July 18 2019, The Love of the World Cultural Goodwill Group, led by Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, ,

visited Tuvalu, which is the 98th country has visited. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tuvalu sent a special pick-up, and Ms. Lafita Paeniu, the Asia Desk Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the movement of “An Era of Conscience.”
The impacts of climate change affect everyone on Earth, and no one is an outsider. Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze wishes to spread the important message of love and peace around the world. It has kept calling for international awareness of the crisis of global warming and encouraging people to strive together for global sustainability.

Tuvalu is an island nation of nine circular coral islands located in the South Pacific. Overlooking from the air like a smile on the corner of her mouth. Due to the extremely low terrain, the highest point is only four meters above sea level. The sea-level rising caused by the greenhouse effect poses a serious threat to Tuvalu, and it is the country most threatened by the rise of the whole sea level. Will the purely happy Tuvalu culture sink in the sea? Climate change is related to the common destiny of all mankind. It requires the international community to face the crisis of global warming and let the beautiful islands no longer mourn!
